Rim locks are ideal for use on a internal doors or office doors where the door is to this to take a mortice lock, especially for rooms where privacy is needed, these locks come with a latch which can be opened from the outside with the key, then at night can be snibbed from the inside so the key will not open the door from the outside.
The rim lock dead lock and roller bolt lock is ideal for hotels or bedrooms as they cannot be shut by accident, they needs a key to lock them and open them from the inside but can be locked from the inside by locking into place with the lever. All cylinder locks can be mastered or passed as required.
