The locks come as a rim lock or a dead lock and come in a 40mm or 60mm back set as well as having  3 different finishes BRASS, SATIN CHROME, CHROME.

High security rim ERA Escape Lock Fitting

The locks are classified as providing keyless egress at all times. This applies where there is a requirement for an easy action method of opening an external door from the inside with no need for keys or similar devices for unlocking - specially relevant for entrance doors in multi-residential and other buildings. A keyless lever on the inside of the door ensures it is possible to make an emergency escape in the event of a fire. They are to BS 8621

They come in two sizes 40mm and 60mm back set sizes.

High security dead lock ERA Escape Locks Fitting

The Dead Lock in the Egress range is the same as the rim lock, it is Insurance and fire approved and conforms to British Standard regulations.  It comes with a turn knob cylinder which allows it to be opened from the inside with a turn knob, this allows for an easy exit in the event of a fire.

The locks are fitted with hardened roses, this stops the cylinder from being snapped, the cylinder is a six anti pick pinned cylinder. The bolt has hardened plates, to prevent sawing

The lock comes in three finishes BRASS, SATIN CHROME, CHROME there are two back sets 64mm and 76mm.
