A Fire Door Fitting Services

When fire doors are installed, they create a fire break which delays the fire from spreading from one area to another, the doors give time for the occupants to flee the premises without the fire spreading through the door, the time permitted by law is a minimum of 30 minutes, the solid cor fire doors we fit follow this time line.

It must be stressed that these doors must be kept shut at all times, this is why a self closer is fitted, enabling the door to close firmly, on it's own.

It is not an easy job fitting doors properly and needs to be done by experts, this is where our Fire Door Fitting Service comes into it's own.

Remember that correct locks should be fitted, in the event of a fire they should be exited without a key, a lock with a knob should be fitted allowing an easy exit point.

Our Carpenters are experts in Fire Door Fitting and will always make sure that your door fits perfectly, in our time of trading, over 40 years, we have fitted many thousands of doors.  The doors we fit are solid core doors therefore are 2 to 3 times stronger than doors that are fibre filled. They are edged with a hardwood strip and if required can be fitted with panels, as shown.

We are also a qualified Locksmith Company, so can therefore suggest the best locks to fit to your new door. Our Company are also D.B.S checked and are Members of The Master Locksmiths Association who vet us.
