When fire doors are installed, they create a fire break which delays the fire from spreading from one area to another, the doors give time for the occupants to flee the premises without the fire spreading through the door, the time permitted by law is a minimum of 30 minutes, the solid core fire doors we fit follow this time line.

It must be stressed that these doors must be kept shut at all times, this is why a self closer is fitted, enabling the door to close firmly, on it's own.

They are edged with a hardwood strip and if required can be fitted with panels, as shown.
